@natecull It looks like this version of the OS is for special cases like schools and really stripped-down computers. They're trying to do the Chromebook thing, and I doubt they'll damage their reputation for backwards compatibility by making this the main product.
My little brother is now complaining that the commercials during Handmaiden's Tale are all tone deaf lingere and waxing ads. He says women ages 24-34 are maybe thinking about other things right now and is surprised nobody thought to maybe advertise for Planned Parenthood or something instead. He's a good kid.

@tcql I know this feel. I sometimes joke that I'm picking up English as a programming language. The interpreters for it are inconsistent and the dedicated hardware it runs on is unreliable, but if you can get it even sort of right, it can be a really powerful language. 😝

Dad just DMed his last tabletop game (in person, at least) for the group he has been DMing since 1981.
I'm hoping this group continues online. When they started, none of them had kids. Three of the party members are now the kids of other players. One of those kids now has a kid of his own. That is right, they've been laying so long they've gone no kids to grandkids.
