@djsundog I’ve got a PowerBook hooked up to my Nikon slide scanner & it is sssslllowwww previewing & importing images. If I can revive this beast, it’ll have a job since Nikon never updated their software for Intel.
I attempted to reseat the keyboard connector on my Macbook Air today. Unfortunately, the purported P5 screwdriver could only remove 8 of the 10 bottom screws and can't put them back.
I'm guessing it's the wrong size and mislabeled.
@suetanvil @djsundog yikes. I’ve never tried to crack an air, but they use some tiny screws on the MBP & you’ve got to watch out for hex-lobe screws that are too small to see the heads on sometimes. Ifixit has been my go-to, but I also grab service manuals whenever I come across them.
