I saw elsewhere - perhaps Twitter - a criticism of the #cyberpunk idea, reflected in Cyberpunk 2077, that the unaltered human body is somehow sacred, and that augmenting it is profane. The criticism noted that this was, at its core, transphobic.
The critic then turned the idea on its head into a trans-positive cyberpunk that eschewed "humanity" in favor of "essence". Maybe one person's essence is complete when they're born; maybe another's essence is lacking until they augment themselves.

I stopped walking when I spotted the cardboard box by the alley.
'Free to a Good Home' was written in cursive on the side.
Five cream and ginger kittens were huddled within.
I couldn't leave it be. I'd have to get them to the no-kill shelter the next town over tomorrow but I wasn't going to just leave them out here overnight.
As I hefted the box, each kitten opened all 3 of their dark eyes. In my head I heard, "Thank you."

She's about 12 weeks old. She's from the hard LA streets, so has not had any shots or anything.
They have someone watching her right now, but as you can see from this photo, the person lets it outside to climb in trees and she is probably going to get run over or eaten if this continues.

Started playing Cultist Simulator a couple of days ago.
There isn't real #occult lore or cults, but the process of seeking mystical knowledge and unravelling how to cast magic are achingly similar to real #mysticism.
So, definitely worth a glance if you like puzzle games or are wondering if a life as a metaphysical explorer is for you.

Vampires are famously vulnerable to sunlight - however it is important to note that while sunlight might cause irritation to exposed skin, it's the EYES that need to absorb the light before fatal immolation will occur.
A vampire with their eyes shut can stumble around for hours without perishing. Most are quite safe on a cloudy day with a wide brimmed hat.
And sunglasses? Be wary of anyone who looks like they're cosplaying The Matrix.
