@SuzanEraslan So if I join another instance as well as this one, do I have to have multiple windows open, or does it merge my local feeds into any that I log into. I'm a bit confused about how that works.
@rateldajer But isn't the federated feed determined by users being members of multiple instances? So then how do they know to link them all together?
@Cyphran um, not really. the federated feed is each instance's limited view of all the posts in the fediverse. So it does let you see posts from any instance, but only as a results of people on your instance boosting or following people on those instances. When you follow someone outside your instance they kind of get pulled in so others in your instance can see them.
