I'm a stubborn woman, that's why I spent the whole day painting today's #DailySketchChallenge
...and once again, I got carried away. Was just going to just do a simple, basic figure, then just the rough lineart, then had to add a wee bit of shading, then more, then some highlights and dangit... now my hand hurts and my thumb is twitching strangely, but she's done. ish. Enough for now. I'm stopping. Gah. 😐
So: here's "music", with a lil bit of #mermay smushed over the top of the #dailysketchchallenge. Thoughts?

Doin' a little more catchup work for the #dailysketchchallenge , got a couple of works on the go for it... here's the halfway shot for #music, thought I'd throw a little #mermay in there as well, just cause.
Can't remember the last time I drew a mermaid, having fun on this one, though I'm a little scared of that hair - the idea I'm working toward is halfway between cloud and giant coral, all spread out behind her. Might work, might not. We'll see.

I missed out on a few prompts, but todays "change" gave me this idea of change in nature. Flowers wilt, flesh decays. Everything changes.
