something very weird just happened with redis
it couldn't save the database because "read only filesystem", which would be scary as fuck if it was true, but the fs looks perfectly fine 
had to sigkill it 3 minutes after a sigterm, so that could be associated to a fs issue but sill weird, and there's nothing related in dmesg
@CobaltVelvet Looks like everything over 48 minutes old in my "Home" column is missing.
@CobaltVelvet if redis has memory pressure it dumps keys so that seems likely
and now it's saving just fine.
