look at this blog title
it's so fucking stupid that it should be enough of an argument for anyone to use urandom
making a gpg key takes 15 minutes
the regular fix is to run a daemon that will pump trash into your entropy pool
because someone was too lazy to add an option to use urandom or use the sane choice by default and no one fixed it in a decade
because gpg is an awful piece of shit

@CobaltVelvet didn't gpg used to use urandom, but some distros has poorly implemented urandoms and this cause a Whole Big Scandal?
