I've been flirting with the idea that we already live in a dystopia. That our grandparents (mine are all dead) would have been filled with awe and horror by what we've done with their future.

Cyber...? Well, I have a buddy, my age, who has both a pacemaker and defibrillator implanted. Not exactly the kind of cybernetics we were hoping for.
