Firewood sales that deal in 'thrown loads' are scummier than car sales. It may be legal, but it's dishonest as hell. I thought that's what we had consumer protection laws for.

I could buy a 3 kg thrown load bag of sugar, you know, 2 kg sugar & 1 kg sand.

Think I'll go to the petrol station and buy a 10 litre thrown load of petrol, that should get me about 7 litres.

So I just paid $100 for a cubic metre of air today. They dumped it on my driveway with 2 cubic meters of firewood, and I paid for 3.
