What #podcasts are people into?
I'm v.into the Flophouse and McElroy shows but also into:
Dames & Dungeons (women playing a hilarious RPG)
Abject Suffering (comedy around bad video james)
Random Sampling (friends chatting around random wiki pages)
Square Roots (classic RPG chat)
Turn to Page (choose your own adventure playthrough)
Stuff You Missed in History Class (history with a feminist perspective)
Mouth Time w/ Reductress (absurdist feminist satire)
I Don't Even Own a TV (bad books comedy)
@tats kababayan! Might give call your girlfriend a spin but Risk sounds like it would get 2real4me
@ChemiKhazi ay hello po! 👋🏻 risk! Is actually almost never dark, and usually funny. Stuff like a kid becoming obsessed with a circus strongman/naked flasher, that kinda stuff.
this might not interest you - but i forgot to mention The Truth. It's a fiction podcast created to be a "movie for your ears." the stories are always thought-provoking and the production quality is amazing, but the material may be a little scary & a bit disturbing. Think Black Mirror, or a scary story,in podcast form.
@ChemiKhazi I like The Tobolowsky Files, where Ned Ryerson from Groundhog Day tells random stories from both the entertainment industry and his personal life
@ChemiKhazi Decoder Ring Theater!
@ajroach42 What is that podcast about?
@ChemiKhazi it's a collection of narrative fiction done in an old time radio style.
@ChemiKhazi Hacker Public Radio (daily show with topics related to "hacker" intrests)
GNUworldorder (fantastic show on FOSS software with a slant towards python and multimedia)
@cobra2 Neat, might take a look at GNUworldorder since I'm working on an open source blender extension written in python.
@ChemiKhazi you will want to check out back episodes of the show for sure. @klaatu is the host of the show in case you have more direct feedback or questions.
@ChemiKhazi Risk! (people telling stories they never thought they'd share) and Call Your Girlfriend (wine-fueled besties talking about pop culture/politics) are great. I don't have the patience for most podcasts, but these manage to hold my attention!
