Great Thanksgiving, or BEST Thanksgiving?

I was chatting with strangers, and the conversation drifted to the two films that came out between Empire and Jedi in which Yoda is a P.I. on the mean streets of an early-'80s U.S. city. Then I *dreamed* I woke up, and had to be convinced that those movies don't actually exist. Then I *actually* woke up and couldn't believe it seemed plausible in the second dream.

On the other hand: there WERE Ewok movies, and Wilford Brimley was in one of them, so.

The #DnD campaign I'm DMing is so nature-focused that I think I need to divide up the "Speak with Plants" spell. Perhaps into:

"Parley with Pine"
"Argue with Acacia"
"Harangue Hickory"
"Bullshit with Birch"
"Discourse with Deciduous"
and, of course,
"Confer with Conifer"

Now, while I must caution you not to overgeneralize from a small amount of data, here is a small amount of data that you will inevitably overgeneralize from

a mellow, lilting, Andrews Sisters-esque ballad with viciously cynical lyrics, the title and chorus of which was "Look to PR to Make It Right." The verses included stuff like "When they find your prints on the handgun" and "When your cell phone photos go public." I had the melody in my head for most of the morning. AND I'M NOT EVEN A MUSICIAN

Alright, time to go through my Netflix queue and bump up all the movies starring male actors who I fear may wind up on the Weinstein Et Al. List, so I can get 'em watched before they become too distasteful
