@mona Exactly. So it forms a continuing chain.

@mona Yes, but they very quickly react with H2O and O2 to go back to U(VI) :D
I like the media preview preference in Twidere. Would be nice to have on the web interface. https://mastodon.cloud/media/CPbpdIz_lqCyyJXVsRw
most of my actions in tabletop campaigns can be summarised by the words "i'm helping!" https://witches.town/media/oGWeh3_QIpgw3bnVD90
I'm rather hoping to encounter more interest in #chemistry here. My predecessor @mono tried to discuss some of his interest in the field, but to little response.
So @DialMforMara has an interview starting about now. You should all send her good wishes.
@theoutrider Have you seen the Errant Signal on it? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59PzmOLSf00 It seems....pretty legit based on Let's Plays I've seen.
When I get around to doing races and cultures, they'll be fairly small, with most of them trading a small number of skill points for various abilities that are mostly non-numerical. So dwarves lose 10 skill points at character creation for the ability to detect sloping passages or such.
On the other hand, that could just be a skill roll? So possibly just a GURPS type 'must buy these things at this level' list?
The magic system might be too complicated and will need the most playtesting, but each area of magic will be a skill, and casting spells from it will lower your skill in that area until you rest. More powerful spells cost more, and may have a penalty to cast.
This also allows bonuses, like add a die of damage to your fireball for a 10% penalty on the roll.
So I'm going with a d% skill system, but with successes levels like in Alternity.
Also I'm going with organically growing skills, something like in Call of Cthulhu, though different mechanics for it. XP will be a thing, since a lot of fantasy games don't have discrete, episodic adventures.
So, talking to people here is making me more and more set on sitting down and actually writing the RPG that has been kicking around in my head for years.
It is inspired by my love for various parts of Call of Cthulhu, GURPS, and Alternity. I've been wanting a skill based game to run action and fantasy stuff with, since I find creative use of skills as tools is what I love about running Call of Cthulhu. However, I want something less lethal. #RPG #Tabletop #Writing
So has anyone worked out a scheduled posting function for Mastodon?
yo, problem with thinking of yourself as "woke" is that it's easy to think that you've already gotten your mind around the surface area of a bunch of societal problems. since you are more aware than you were before, you assume that you know a lot
and that makes it easy for you to exclude and harm people
so if you think you're woke uhh
practice listening a whole fucking lot? know that you still don't know everything
@homura The clicky fidgets always seemed more effective to my eyes. I've personally used one of the coily ones and it was very relaxing as well. There are a lot of options.
So, I think after Thunderball, Never Say Never Again, and The Spy Who Loved Me, I'm out of #JamesBond #Bond movies with cool nature scenes. Am I wrong? Looking for recommendations.
i should not be allowed to do tech support in discord channels because whenever someone is just getting incomprehensible and i don't understand their issue my default response is "perform a blood sacrifice"

!!! @DialMforMara s playing her first FPS *ever*. She choose Wolfenstein 3D (HTML4 port) as she thought it would be cathartic. #FPS #Wolfenstein #HTML4 #Wolfenstein3D #DOS
