@jannamark Let me know if it is okay to follow you. I always like to ask.

@craigmaloney I'm in West Michigan, and somewhere on a hill across the street, people in a neighborhood gather and rain fireworks down on us every July 4 or thereabouts. They don't know they're doing it, but that doesn't matter. It is totally unnecessarily, and our cats hate it, as do the critters in the woods. Such a stupid tradition.

I woke up. I have stuff to do, but nowhere to go except on my walk. This hasn't happened in *months*. Home, from one end of the day until the other! It's like looking out upon the wide expanse of the ocean, incomprehensibly vast. It's... it's... I need more coffee.

@wohali Thanks so much. I appreciate your kindness.

Here's the cover I designed over the weekend for an eBook I'm writing called "How to Write a Book About Your Pet."

Fox goes all slurpy during visit.

@wohali I am so sorry to hear that. It is so difficult losing a pet. I lost my sweet African grey parrot Bella a month ago. She was 16, still a youngster. I grieve for her every day. Looking into a parrot's eyes is like looking into fire.

@wohali Thanks! I look forward to reading about your cat. We've got two kitties. We once had six in our small house.

@cwebber Ohio has the Serpent Mound, Mound City National Monument, Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, Magee Marsh, Metzger Marsh. And, really, the Serpent Mound is stunning.

@wohali My pleasure. Happy to follow you, if you like.

@cwebber Boring in an interesting sort of way. Unlike Indiana.

@John No problem at all, John. The important thing is to feel better. Anxiety and depression are the worst. Hang in there. All the best to Tazzy.

@John I'm so glad to hear she is doing better. And that she is not only indestructible but indescribable, as all cats are.
