In the mind, there’s always a battle: between those words that occurred to you first to describe an idea, but may not all make sense later, and those words which come after, to describe the idea a little more approachably, through they may not be as good as those that came first.
@maecah Excellent point. When I first wake up, my writing flows very well. Later when I read it back... it's often a bit thick and needs to be edited so that other people can understand. It gains, but it loses. Nice to hear you express this so well.
