Just about finished my light theme update for Mastodon... Thoughts?
There's more to it than just this, but I guess that's all I can really show (for now?)

@Averly Well it is a white background...
let it be known: I abhor white backgrounds. A cloudy day is too bright for me and... staring at a white background at night is the reason i have LUX and similar tools deployed on all my computational equipment with a screen.
@Averly It's really light! I like it and I'd want to use it, but I never use light themes if I can help it.
It's messing me up that you're using three tifferent shades of grey on the left.

@Averly Sometimes you create a product, which you don't plan to use, but you can be sure that a lot of people will and they will love it.

@Averly Nice! I'd make the username on the compose bar a light colour (or make the 'edit profile' link a dark colour) so they match :)

@Averly Looks nice, I am just wandering whether it won't be better to have a light colour on top where all the icons are, like light blue, instead on black? Just a suggestion, cool theme tho.

i suggest making the search bar brighter, making the character count more poignant, making the self username a bit brighter, and making the shadows between timeline header and list more linear rather than circular

@worldsnuts I'm just using a Safari plugin called "FreeStyler" - allows me to create custom CSS for any website to modify the look.
I don't know if themes for Mastodon if officially a thing, but I wanted to give it a shot 👍
