Frankly the whole thing is a giant shit show. That the situation was able to go from some pro democracy protests to a 1930s Spain style civil war with multiple countries either directly involved or backing their preferred faction or both is an indictment on the international community and their failure to de-escalate or attempt to manage this year's ago, long before it got to this point.

You know what would be cool? Mapping the similarity between instances using text analysis. Perhaps with ngrams with document frequency, inverse term frequency. Though I suspect short of joining each instance getting the data would be a pain.

@Wikisteff this is always a good starting assumption. The internet isn't really built for true anonymity or privacy. And digital information is just so portable.
