I'm sitting at a bus stop with a cute girl. Should I ask her out, Y/N? :/
Hmm. So I may have chewed up and eaten a bit of tinfoil yesterday. Am I gonna die? Please advise. :/
Can I just have the entirety of mastodon.art injected directly to my frontal love? That would he very convenient, thank you. XD
Me, when I see all the new people in my timeline: "IT CONTINUES...!"
So you think that people have a light side and a dark side and that if you ignore your dark side or try to convince yourself it doesn’t exist then it will come out in ways that you have less control over
"Looking forward, Howe inferred, much like the G.I.’s, Millennials will have to deal with a great conflict, but theirs will be a culture war."
Well thats optimistic. :/
Huh. Just read Scott Alexanders book review for Seeing Like a State. All of a sudden I have a whole new appreciation of anarchist thought. :/
tfw you every game is either boring or productivity destroyingly addictive. :/
Huh. Went and dug up an old demo for my temple of the elements game. Not quite a game yet, but it should give you a vague idea of what I was going for with the thing. XD
Ugh. Been super tired lately and I don't know why. :/

I have a couple of games I could work on, and I wanna finish one of them. Not sure which one though. Their names are The Temple of the Elements and Crovasshun, Tales of Blood and Steel. Both are dungeon crawly things, but one of them has you as a single adventurer going through a dungeon in real time, getting drops, levelling up, and generally trying to minmax so you can beat the boss, while the other has you leading a team of adventurers in tactical (semi)turn based combat, like in XCom. Any thoughts on which I should focus on? :/

Heres an old game I haven't worked on for a while. It's called The Temple of the Elements. It's kind of like a cross between the Binding of Isaac, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, and Diablo 2. Basically, theres a dungeon, you fight stuff, get treasure, level up, and eventually fight a final boss. Of note, though, one of the big themes of the game is short term vs long term investment. If you invest too much in the long term, then you die and it all goes to waste, while if you invest too much in the short term, you'll lose out on long term power.
My friend is finally launching the kickstarter for his project! It's a 3d audio workstation. It has built in sequencers, synths, filters, support for midi devices, the whole shebang. Take a look!

"How many trans people does it take to change a lightbulb?
Just one. But you have to sit in the dark for a year to prove it's really out, endure constant questioning from parents and friends asking if you couldn't just get used to the dark, because it's so much easier, and you need two letters from electricians (at least one of whom must hold a PhD) confirming that you know the risks of changing a lightbulb."
