My apartment prohibits pets, so I visit a certain cat cafe about once a week.
It's amazing just how many people have no idea how to pick up or hold a cat.
Since the cafe doubles as a rescue and most of the cats are adoptable, I make it my mission to teach other customers how to handle cats. That way, they can have a positive experience and might be more inclined to adopt.
And it makes the cats so much happier too.
@A_Noyd I'm so sorry about your apartment's stupid rule!!! but hooray for a local cat cafe/rescue & hooray for helping the clueless others! so many ppl think cats are just small dogs, and nope!
