Today I participated in #Japanese culture by working 9.5 hours without any break other than a quick lunch.

And then, on the way home, I participated even more by picking up an item a student had dropped, going back to school, and handing it over to one of the regular teachers.

After that, I delighted an elementary school student (not one of mine) by yelling at the jerk who almost ran over both of us with his truck—which was perhaps not the Japanese thing to do, but satisfying all the same.
