I've already seen a bunch of alternate names for a Mastodon post. Do you call them toots or something different?

@1 Pretty key question I'd argue- probably good to keep in mind that it will be utilized as a verb as well.
It IS funny to say "look what was just tooted" but perhaps not the best longterm solution?

@1 Toots sound just right. As for the community, people seem to be adopting, Mastodorians or Mastodomites.
@1 the cybre.space instance uses pings. I like.
