After less than 20 days #signal has some major downtime again.
I really appreciate their work for mainstream messaging. But I don't like how non-transparent their work is. I'd bet we'll never know if it was some DDOS attack (again?) or just tons of folks looking for better messaging because of #facebook meltdown.

An import first step would be to understand how hackers can't induce social change on their own. Not to speak of ending #patriarchy, #capitalism, #inequality etc.

Yep, there it is again. Always after finishing all my exams for one semester I fell into a big hole of 'don't know what to do with my time'. Glad this was my last semester with exams and I got projects lined up...
The most positive part about huge fuck ups like #CambridgeAnalytica?
Quality #journalism is still working and important. Maybe even more important than 20 years ago (but that's maybe biased by my age).
So I started supporting #TheGuardian because I'm grateful they're around.

Can someone recommend open source workshops or seminars in Germany or Europe?
I'm going to work on an open source project with a small federal founded team. Since that founding would include such trainings I was wondering whether there are any workshops regarding open source project governance and contribution, and if so what provider would be nice to support (as in paying for the workshop).

Oh oh! Started playing #rimworld. Might have been a big mistake. If there is no annoying mechanic or bad luck scenario messing up my experience the next time I play, I think I found my personal #civilization replacement. Especially regarding time consuming potential.
